Shari Goldman-Gottlieb

I take up residence in all of my stories
here a chair with two legs, a piece of apple,
a partial-staff of a partial-griot

I invite you to follow me away from my dwelling-place
to the chair steady or disappeared
the apple whole or none
the staff carved or cracked,
to the griot of sound or of silence
