The Strange Trip is an episode in It's JerryTime!, a unique animated videoblog about a fortysomething everyman whose life is just a bit harder than it should be. The animations, which feature the stories and original ragtime score of Jerry Zucker and the animation of his brother Orrin, debuted in November 2005. Since then, it has received numerous honors, including an Emmy nomination, as well as the New Media Award at the Ottawa International Animation Festival 2006.

This episode is about Jerry's vacation to Gettysburg. In order to experience "a spiritual reawakening," Jerry camps out on the battlefield. Later, he gets lost in the woods and experiences an awakening of a different kind.
